Progress

Capitalism set back human progress for some five centuries. Without it, we’d be living on Mars right now.

Essence

The essence of capitalism is in resale: buy/produce cheap, sell for much more. In small portions.

Switch

The switch from capitalism to socialism was so-so. The opposite switch is not going that well, either.

The Future

How the World would look in the not-so-distant future? Something like this:

Humankind would consist of only a couple of millions of the richest people. Everything will be performed by machines/computers. The rest of the population would perish, since they’ll become obsolete.
Survivors would play Monopoly day and night, in order to take capital from others. It will be meaningless, but fierce, nonetheless.
The social order would still be capitalism.

Economy

The economy is a vehicle for creating a profit for chosen.

Pity

Instead of concentrating on cooperation, on how to make life better for all of us, most of our efforts are towards cheating each other out of money. What a pity…

Definition

By definition, capitalism cannot be objective, fair, and democratic.

Criteria

People of Eastern Europe (former communist countries) have difficulties adjusting to capitalism, mainly because of the lack of absolute social criteria.

Illusion

On Internet, like in capitalism, there’s only the illusion of democracy.

Proletarians

Proletarians exist only in capitalism: in socialism, they were the ruling class.
