These aphorisms are dedicated to people who’ll laugh at least once while reading them. For those who wouldn’t laugh even once, I suggest to re-read them again. If they don’t laugh even then, they are too serious and should be reading something else.
Acceptance and compassion arrive late, if they arrive at all. The ego resists them at every turn, insisting on its own importance, its own defenses. And in that resistance, almost casually, it can cost us our health.
