When I came to the US, I wished to continue my education. However, once I realized how much time and effort it would cost, and considering poor teachers’ salaries, I decided to dedicate myself to programming.
As a student, I was keeping notes very diligently, especially in philosophy and psychology classes. The problem was that I couldn’t read them later, since a have very bad handwriting. It took me a long time to stop taking them.
When I was a kid, my biggest literary influences were comic books (those cheap ones: Marvel, superheroes, etc). I think that I even learned to read by reading those. And they say that comics are trivial!
Seeing dawn from the right side, that’s living correctly. I was always filled with pleasure by going to sleep when other people are getting ready to go to work.
In order to maintain peace of mind (and a healthy heart), man has to avoid excitement in life (or so the doctors say). If I had to choose between peace of mind and excitement, I wouldn’t deliberate at all.
After a night of heavy drinking, I always get a memory black hole, not being able to remember parts of the previous evening. It’s too bad that the courts don’t accept this excuse.
If I were born in the US, I’d probably go to ivy-league college, I’d be a quarterback on a local football team, marry my high-school sweetheart, get a house, two cars, 2.5 kids, etc. It wouldn’t be such a bad life, after all.
