PhD

To have a Ph.D. in marxism is the same as having a degree in bungee jumping.

Ignorant

To be ignorant means not letting others meddle in your life.

To be a secret society member is very seductive. It’s the same as having a mistress, or secret account in Switzerland. When your secrets get discovered, it’s similar to having diarrhea and realizing that too late.

Piece of Mind

Contemplating trivial ideas, things, facts, etc. gives you peace of mind based upon the fact that those would never be used for a bad cause.

Cells

If all cells in our body replace themselves every five years or so, can we then conclude that we are new persons, in the same intervals? The trouble is that all cell replacements don’t happen simultaneously.

Literary character

If you don’t have a Russian name, middle initial, and last name, you can’t be a literary character.

Advice

More often than not, when you go to a doctor, he sends you home only with – advice. It would be the same as if you go to a mechanic with a broken transmission, and he sends you home with advice on how to heal it, so it might start working again. But the transmission is still broken.
