If you only care about the outcome, you’ll miss the beauty of the game.

In a game of constantly moving goalposts, only those who are doing the actual moving, benefit. Everybody else loses.

Undermining Trump’s election victory is tantamount to invalidating US’s political system, in general. We like the game only when we’re winning: it’s childish and immature, and shows a bad character.

You can’t win a game in which the rules are always shifting, and you’re not the one who’s changing them.

You can’t win if you don’t play the game. But it’s rigged.

Life is like a chess game against a cruel, unforgiving grandmaster in which you – the average Joe – don’t have the slightest chance of winning. Of course, in the beginning, you’re not aware of who you’re playing against, and of the fact that your opponent controls all the aspects of the game. Once you realize your disadvantages, it’s too late. Anyways, you didn’t have a choice, to begin with, since the game was forced upon you.
