Systematization

The main problem, which would take most of the time, regarding these aphorisms is going to be to systematize them.

Dostoyevsky

F.M. Dostoyevsky said once that he admires better his wrong ideas than others’ correct ones. Fyodor, my brother!

As a student, I was keeping notes very diligently, especially in philosophy and psychology classes. The problem was that I couldn’t read them later, since a have very bad handwriting. It took me a long time to stop taking them.

Poetry

When I was younger, I was writing poetry (like all other sensitive souls on this planet). Needless to say, I wasn’t much of a poet. But, that wasn’t the reason I stopped writing poetry: the real reason is that I’ve realized that I wasn’t going to intentionally limit the room for my thoughts, by putting them into pre-defined forms.

Good reason

A good reason for hanging out with people is to learn things that I can later use for these aphorisms.

Diaries

People who keep diaries either have a very high opinion of themselves or they have some psychological problems.

Plagiarism

Is copying somebody’s literary form also plagiarism as copying content? If it is, I’m in big trouble then.

Weird

It’s weird that people in writing turn out better, smarter, nobler, etc. than in reality.

Chekhov

A.P. Chekhov, one of my favorites, has a short story titled “The Man in a Case”. If you haven’t read it so far, please read it immediately. That way you’d understand a bit better the things that I write about here.

Proust

If M. Proust had a computer, he’d still be writing “In Search of Lost Time”, book No. 24765.
