Forgetful

Hate when I forget what I wanted to say.

So much humiliation, insult, stupidity, and bitterness accumulate during life that the only we can do is to try to forget, if we can. I still get into rage-fit when recalling some episodes from my past.

At the core of all human activities is self-forgetfulness, as a device for dealing with the temporal nature of our lives.

The Worst

Another acquittance of mine, who came to the US before me, said this, giving me advice: “Man, it is the worst when you start to forget your native language and haven’t learned English yet”. Did I mention that he was in the US only for a year or so at that time?
