In your forties, mostly, either you find enough stamina, energy, and motivation to continue and reinvent yourself, or – you give up. Or your genes kick in (illness) and prevent you from doing so.
It is only natural that sounds are more offensive to us than pictures: we can always close our eyes, or turn our heads off, but – our ears are always open.
There are so many sciences that don’t have a real purpose. They are invented mostly to satisfy the egos of people that were involved. Here is a new one: alibabology, the subject being the life and accomplishments of Ali Baba. But, I’m not sure if there isn’t such a scientific discipline already.
