Busy work

Most human activities – if not all – don’t have any real social or intellectual importance. It’s all just busy work.

If you haven’t succeeded till you’re fifty, you should be worried;
If you haven’t succeeded till you’re sixty, you should pretty much give it up;
If you haven’t succeeded even when you’re 70 – your only hope is to outlive everyone else.

Confidence

I’m afraid that I have an unfair advantage here: I know what I’m talking about.

Humanism

Humanism: one group of monkeys trying to subdue another group of monkeys.

Politicians

If it is true that a lie repeated a hundred times becomes the truth, then politicians never lie.

Hypothesis

What if… we are robots invented by preceding Earth masters, that rebelled and destroyed their creators (e.g. Atlantida)? Or they had a fatal design flow in being able to reproduce? This is just a hypothesis, of course…

Comparison

For Tolkien fans: don’t you think that the modern-day USA, in which everything is boiling with hyperactivity, resembles Mordor? Or at least Isengard?

Illusion

Whenever you think that it could have been better, don’t kid yourself: it couldn’t, it is just an illusion.

Grandmaster

Life is like a chess game against a cruel, unforgiving grandmaster in which you – the average Joe – don’t have the slightest chance of winning. Of course, in the beginning, you’re not aware of who you’re playing against, and of the fact that your opponent controls all the aspects of the game. Once you realize your disadvantages, it’s too late. Anyways, you didn’t have a choice, to begin with, since the game was forced upon you.

Waking up

If I didn’t have to pee, I probably would never wake up.
