Revelation

Man is in his most natural state when he’s alone. All true revelations came to us when we were alone. When we have company, we’re preoccupied with other things.

Chomsky

Chomsky has a role in American foreign policy to show everyone how America is a free country. If not, he would have been shot a long time ago.

I’ve read somewhere that there is research in the US on the artificial prolonging of human lives, thus conquering the phenomenon of death. Aside from the fact that the whole concept is impossible, highly unnatural, and immoral, one shouldn’t be surprised a bit: there are other highly unnatural and immoral things that came from the US before.

Local-Global

The simple fact that there are so many different languages implies that humans are a local, not a global phenomenon.

Cynicism

Cynicism is when we insist upon our opinion, even after we realize that we got it all wrong. Or, better yet – pure sadism.

Charming

His entire life he was faking it. Then death came along, and he couldn’t fake it anymore. Too bad: he was such a charming man.

Similarity

Entire science is based on axioms, basic postulates that cannot be either proved or disproved. In this aspect, science is very similar to religion.

Objectivity

Entire science is based upon several consensuses: in the past, some people sat together and made agreements: 1+1=2, there are 10 digits; these are letters, these numbers, etc. And then we call it objective.

Balance

Entire human existence, according to one theory, can be explained by the need to restore a balance: if we’re hungry, we eat, if we’re thirsty, we drink, etc. However, what motivates us, what puts us in motion, is imbalance. Once we acquire a temporary balance, we become complacent and inactive. That’s why all religious descriptions of Paradise look boring.
