Substantial progress has been made since we first started believing in gods. Today our smartest scientists believe that we reside in a simulation, created by a Joe-Shmoe, tha Programmer! I’d say that the educational system worked really well in the intervening millennia.
When I came to the US, I wished to continue my education. However, once I realized how much time and effort it would cost, and considering poor teachers’ salaries, I decided to dedicate myself to programming.
