Imagination Our ancestors had an imagination, too. Take the stories from the past with a grain of salt.
Trapped No outcome is a good outcome. Neither Heaven or Hell, nor anything in between. There’s no solution, we’re trapped.
Code We broke Nature’s code, which is predation. We don’t have any natural predators left, so… we’re just going to consume the entire planet.
King The consumer is the King. He devours everything, and everybody is working tirelessly to appease him.
Rarity For something to have value, it has to be rare. Artists, writers, etc. are devaluing their work by making too much of it. That’s why Leonardo, Picasso (and some others) are great: when they started to repeat themselves, they moved on, voluntarily.
Explorers Beatles explored, Stones got one thing going, then repeated it, endlessly. Stones are a better business, but the Beatles were true explorers.
