Regardless of the distance, at some point, you realize that you haven’t gone far enough.
If the instrument is suffering, no amount of technical virtuosity can compensate for that.
Conformity: wanting to do/be equal to or better than one’s peers.
That’s the point of art: it’s open to interpretation. Most people don’t understand this.
