Importance

Whether something is important, depends entirely on perspective.

Giving

Giving is easy when you don’t have anything to give.

Homeland

Someone should always die for the homeland.

Society

As humans, we exist only in human society. Remove it, and we’d be all alone, surrounded by strange creatures.

Winging it

Winging it can only get you so far. The lack of systematic knowledge will always get you, in the end.

The agricultural revolution devalued food, the industrial revolution devalued work, the information revolution devalued information and knowledge… It seems that the object of each revolutionary change is ultimately devalued.

Illusion

Two independent observers, looking at the same thing, never see the same thing. They just call it the same, as a matter of consensus. Objective reality is an illusion.

Not the same

Knowing is not the same as being able to do.

Inheritance

Inheritance beyond a certain amount should be prohibited. Instead, it should go to a general pot, beneficial to everybody.

Aptitude

The capacity to learn is what makes us intelligent.
